Nach allen mir bekannten Forendiskussionen zu diesem Thema kann man wohl darauf schließen, dass in keinem Land Zelluloid oder dessen Herstellung verboten ist oder wird. Zelluloidverbot ist wohl nichts anderes, als eine glatte Lüge. Zu Erinnerung, die Entscheidung des Board of Directors der ITTF Plastikbälle einzuführen war mit dem "Zelluloidverbot" begründet:
