AW: International TT-NEWS Open, July 4 - July 6 Hello Peter, unfortunately my English isn’t the best, as my school days are long gone. Further to this my regular life and table tennis activities do not really lend themselves to conversations with mother tongue English speakers, which are few and between in my part of Germany. As a matter of fact I was actually enrolled on an advanced English course during my time at grammar school (business), much was learned and much has been forgotten since. Nevertheless I am still convinced that my English is good enough in order to communicate with most English speakers. In order to satisfy your strive for perfection, here is a formal reminder that the International TT-News Open are due to commence in two weeks time. I acknowledge that it is not ideal that the electronic tournament registration procedures are not entirely in English, but these teething problems will be sorted by the time we reach next year’s tournament. I have therefore uploaded an English tournament registration document attached to this thread post, which can be used for manual registration. Warm greetings to everyone Matthias Landfried |

I shall be travelling from Sheffield in the U.K. Should be a good laugh with some good German beverages and excellent sausages. I can't wait to munch one of the "Currywursts", which I had the last time I was in Germany. |
