AW: A new era for 'old' players I think we will see some surprises. All in all the material of a player is going to be more important right now because there are different levels that some companies have achieved...e.g Butterfly vs. ESN vs. Stiga..... so old players will adapt to the game since the game was also slower in the 90s. |

AW: A new era for 'old' players I just have read that Samsonov lost his match in the champions-league (Wang, Zeng Yi WR-72) http://www.ecl-ettu.com/view_new.php?id=348&l1=1&cat=1 http://www.ecl-ettu.com/result.php?id=1&l1=1 and 'somebody wrote' that he will not play in Liege (worldcup-finales) because of his adjusting problems with the new rubbers. Maybe somebody has something official about his participation in Liege? |

A new era for 'old' players The fresh glue days are over. Many of the european topplayers are 30+. Do you think that: -they want adjust to the new rubbers or just stop playing. Afterall they used fresh glue for most of their life. -they will have more chance to win matches because of the slower tempo. |
