AW: Balls Zitat:
When you play outside the gym on a stone-table, your ball will break earlier !!!I had a "Schildkröt"-ball for ca. 5-7 or more months and the ball never brokes, it was the best ball I have ever played. I was very sad when I lost the ball in a gym .Gruß Jan |

AW: Balls Zitat:
The floor and the wall are very important for its lifetime. If the floor and the wall have sharp edges (example a brick-wall), then the lifetime will be very short because every-time when the ball hits such an edge the tension on the ball is so big it will break faster. The best thing what you can do is put some carpet against the wall. The floor can have the same problem but changing the floor should be 'impossible'. |

With white balls this is 'always' along the equator (in die lenge des nathes). (as far as I can remember this because it has been a few years since I have seen a broken white ball) |

Deswegen habe ich mal für „There are no good table tennis Balls“ gestimmt |

![]() @Ivo-M: Well, my club plays on blue tables too, but also with white balls. I think orange balls have more and more the funktion like a red ball in soccer (used in winter with snow). They are only used, if there are real problems to see a white ball (bright floor, bright wall, etc.). However, I have not so much experience with orange balls. I had three orange Joola ***, they where pretty heavy. They broke in a short time, but I had worse white balls (BTY for example). I always had the feeling, that orange balls are a little bit more elastic at the "equator" (Naht), so that they don´t break as fast as white ones. |
