There was another thread on this topic in the Chit-Chat section, so I have merged them into one.

Favourite but not the best

My favourite player is Koji. Why? He's not the best but he makes every game to be so attractive.

they call him mozart: J.O.
the first time i saw him playing on tape i was enflamed. but worldwide there may be local favourites. king kong played nearly without mistakes in sydney. but ..
there is just one gambling genius..

I have a few favorites, including J. O. Waldner, Zoran Primorac, Kim Taek Soo, Chiang Peng Lung, and Kouji Matsushita. This covers a lot of different styles, the diversity is what I like about this game.

Best player

The player that has most impressed me is Jörgen Persson.
I saw him playing several times, last time he mastered Gatien and Legout very easily.

I also like Roßkopf for his great backhand loop and Gatien for his powerful "pivot" topspin that he has invented himself.

Jan-Ove Waldner the best player ever played this game.

Koji Matsushita

I like Koji Matsushita very much, because, he plays "a little bit" different to the other table-tennis players, and I find it very interessting to see a match beetwen Koji and another tt-player...

My favourite is Jörgen Persson. He doesn´t play so spectaculary like Waldner, but he´s a really friendly personality and I admire him for his fighting spirit and cleverness.
