Hi everybody!

I'd like to know which English books you read before!
Which ones can you recommend and why?

Catcher in the Rye - don't know the author, not too bad but also not the best book

The Green Mile - I don't have read through all the book but it's quite interesting (now I've seen the film so I would not really need to read through the book any more :))

The Truman Show - don't ask! We read it at school...

...and some more...

you should read CONAN DOYLE - SHERLOCK HOLMES, though it is not a book in the strict sense but many many stories and some novels. :)

Hey, you can't believe how happy I am to hear that we were not the only pupils who had to read this book at school... but that's over now :)

I didn't read the book "The Green Mile" but I saw the film. I really have to say that the film was great, perhaps in future I'll also read the book...

Didn't anybody else read an English book yet??

I think the same way about "A Few Good Men" (german title: "Eine Frage der Ehre"). Also a great film! But first I should finish "The Green Mile" :)
