Which new polyball is better? 1-piece (Xushaofa/Palio) or 2-pieces (DHS/Doublefish)?

What do you think, which new plasticball is better? 1-piece (Xushaofa/Palio) or 2-pieces (DHS/Doublefish)?

Which should be more similar like the old celluloidball?

What are the differences, if a ball is made of one piece or he is out of two pieces (physical, mechanical)? Are there differences maybe with the stability or roundness?

I think the DHS ball.

I think there are differences, but I don´t know how to explain.

The Palio Ball is produced by XuShaofa. I think the DHS ball is a little bit better.

I played one of those proto-types yesterday. The sound is a little weird but other than that, I don't think it will be drastic change. With that being said, I'm sure the industry will jump on the gravy train - a golden opportunity to cash in big time. And the consumers will go bonkers, as usual.

...also, it seems that here in the US the new ball will inevitably 'become mandatory' across the board. What I mean by that: there's just no way that you could reasonably establish a system by which you could have players above a certain level play with the new ball, and leave it optioal for everybody else below that. So, while there technically might not be an introduction of a formal rule, everybody will end up with the poly-ball (or whatever they call that thing...)

We bought from all available balls a 3-ball-box.

3 balls are not enough to get a final decision, but currently the DHS balls had been the best in our test. It is not a seemless ball, it is made out of 2 pieces.

Alright, so it seems our club is slowly catching on and we'll be gradually introducing the 'new' ball over the next few months. I had the opportunity to play a few sessions with the Joola ball. The bounce is slightly different (a little lower) and the sound is.... I don't know, just weird. As if the ball was cracked...

Either way, shouldn't be too much of a change - some minor adjustments but nothing dramatic.
