frictionless long pimples had been a good material for older players to be able to keep up with the younger and physically stronger players by ball feeling and experience. It is very unfortunate that this possibility now does not exist any more. In my eyes with this ban gets lost some attraction of tabletennis. I have watched this games always with pleasure to see which generation can assert his style of playing tabletennis.
I dont care about Tabletennis on TV. I dont care about the visions of Mr.Sharara to improve TT. I dont mind if he succeed and you can watch TT on TV more often. It makes no difference for me, because i dont watch TT on TV.
But I am worried about continually improving the physical skills and to depreciate the ball feeling and experience skills. And I am worried about what comes next. Ban of Anti-Spin Rubbers?
In my eyes it is the great social characteristic of TT, that 18 year old Players meet 70 year old players at eye level to play and have fun together. This is only possible because there exist several ways of playing table tennis. Please dont kill this wonderfull characteristic of TT.
