Es heißt, so weit mein Englisch ausreicht:
Wenn nur der Spieler davon profitieren würde, sollte es nicht neu überdacht werden.
Wenn beide der Meinung sind ist es zu akzeptieren.
Es gibt auch den Unterschied zwischen einer falschen Entscheidung (Tatsachenentscheidung) und einem Irrtum (falsch gezählt/Regelauslegung).
