Nix da mit Zhengzhou - auf nach Tianjin!
The ITTF Competition Department informs the associations that the city for the China Open 2009 has been changed to Tianjin. The Pro Tour event will take place on 12 - 16 August as originally scheduled.
All those associations and individuals who already booked their ticket to Zhengzhou are asked to change the reservation to Beijing. From Beijing the organizers will provide transport to Tianjin and back. Most of you may have already tickets through Beijing, this should be the final destination.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond the control of the city of Zhengzhou (the original host)
the hall will not be ready for our event. Therefore, with tremendous efforts from the Chinese TTA, a new host (Tianjin) was found in very short time. The ITTF thanks the Chinese TTA for all their efforts in maintaining the China Open at the same dates and moving the event to a convenient location near Beijing.
