It’s official! Promoter Gary Shaw confirmed that undisputed World Heavyweight Champion Lennox Lewis will fight WBC #1 contender/mandatory Vitali Klitschko on Saturday, June 21, at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. And it will for the title: WBC Heavyweight Championship of the World. Shaw and Lion Promotions will present the historic card, which will be televised live on HBO (10 PM ET / 7 PM PT). On Monday morning, Shaw said to FightNews.com: "It's on! It's Vitali Klitschko!" Shaw was on the line with STAPLES Center and will provide more details of the historic fight. Los Angeles last played host to a world heavyweight title fight 44 years ago when Floyd Patterson defended his crown for the third time with a 13th-round TKO over Roy Harris on Aug. 8, 1958, at the old Wrigley Field.
Meine Meinung:
Der Kampf wird nicht länger als drei, maximal vier Runden gehen. Entweder Glückstreffer Klitschko oder Massaker Lewis... letzteres ist wesentlich wahrscheinlicher.
