16 ADVICE TO PLAYERS
16.2 In a team event he may have any number of advisers but in an individual event he may receive advice from only one person, who must be nominated to the umpire before the match. Where a doubles pair consists of players from different Associations, each may nominate an adviser. These advisers are treated as a single unit for the purposes of the Page 18
advice regulations. A single warning applies to both, and if either of the pair gives advice illegally after either has been warned, both should be sent away from the playing area.
