"Injuries to Ma Lin and Guo Yue have forced the two Chinese stars out of the forthcoming World Team Classic to be staged in Guangzhou from Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st March 2013.
Guo Yue has a recurrence of a neck injury, whilst Ma Lin, now 33 years old and by Chinese standards considered a veteran, is suffering from a waist injury."
