4 Gruppen à 4 Spieler. Ovtcharov (Gruppe A), Freitas (B), Samsonov (C) und Gacina (D) sind jeweils topgesetzt. Wenn Ovtcharov und Freitas Erste werden, treffen sie sich frühestens im Finale, ansonsten ist aber auch ein Aufeinandertreffen im Viertel- oder Halbfinale möglich.

The winner of Group A shall be seeded first (position 1 in the draw).
The winner of Group B shall be seeded second (position 8 in the draw).
The winners of Groups C and D shall be drawn into positions 4 and 5 of the draw.
The second place finishers of each group shall be drawn randomly into positions 2, 3, 6 and 7 of the draw; there will be separation of group winners and second place finishers from the same group so they cannot meet before closing rounds.
