a. Men’s and Women’s Singles: Knock out - Main Draw of 32.
• Top 16 seeded (or Top 15 plus 1 player from the host association or Top 14 plus 2
players from the host association, provided that the one player is in the Top 50 position of the WR). In both cases, this applies only if no players from the host association are already included in the Top 16 players by default, according to the latest available ITTF World Ranking, at the date of the final entries deadline.
