Glues
At the end of 2006 there were 71 authorised glues, most of them based on volatile organic compounds (VOC), which shall be withdrawn by the 1. September 2008.
Seven suppliers applied for authorising new glues under the new regulations of the Technical Leaflet T4B (Edition from 1. January 2006), without any VOC's with a vapour pressure equal to or above 0,3 mbars, but only four got the authorisation. Approximately 150 mails have been received during 2006 regarding glues from different manufacturers, associations and table tennis fans; all of them were duly answered.

Die Vorgaben waren klar definiert, dennoch fielen 3 von 7 Hersteller durch. Kleber ohne organischer Loesungsmittel ist wohl doch nicht einfach.
