New Stiga rubbers
Hi,
I read a lot about the new stiga rubbers (innova). Maybe someone who has already tested them could give their assessment of them. |

There are quite a few people in the German section who have already tested them. I am sure one of them can tell you something about them (otherwise I will translate some articles for you).

Obviously nobody wants (or dares ) to answer your question. Since I will test the Innove Ultra Light myself in a few days I can provide you with my (humble) opinion in let's say 1 week from today.

Innova
Hi Yoshi,
I've translated one report. Maybe not correct, but readable. (original by ml) I test extensively at the moment the Innova. It is an ideal lining for Topspinspieler, I has never somewhat so spinjoyful seen, adhesive is the Innova really very very fast, nevertheless has it a very good check because the sponge is so soft. I think that there finally times a lining am there, for which already many looked spinjoyfully, fast with the Topspin however controlled with passive impacts. It already gave many soft linings, but those had all the problem that you the correct power were missing, because they were TOO soft. Remedy should bring the tensor technique, but problems in the passive play, in the short short play and with the impact acceptance and the super+soft tensor linings were then again too lame there developed often. The sponge of the Innova is soft, has however an enormous catapult with the Topspin, I the sponge hardness with some soft Sriver FX would compare. Into the Innova sponge the air Capsule system (ACS) was built, I thinks that this effectuation that with the Topspin such an enormous catapult comes, but with passive balls the soft sponge can out-play nevertheless its absorption, it did not become thus not a continuously available tensile state inserted as with the tensor technology, but the voltage only structured with the stronger arrival of the ball in the lining. In addition, this ACS system has again an advantage, because thus the Innova 10% becomes more easily than the comparable conventional lining and the Innova Light even 15% easier. I thought only that one that will not certainly notice, but who plays times a racquet with 2x Mendo Energy/Sriver FX/Speedy spin Premium/Samba... and then times the same wood with front spar Innova and RH Innova Light in the hand holds, that will be surprised!! That constitutes some, it is absolutely noticeable. With a lighter racquet one can achieve a better acceleration with the Topspin and one is faster with the change of VH/RH and at the desk, additionally one can play so also thick linings in max. strength, e.g. 2,3 mm, without the racquet becomes too heavy or too top-heavy. The Innova does not have nothing with the new linings with thinnest upper rubber (0,5 mm instead of 0,9 mm) to do, it exists thus under any circumstances the fear that the linings the loads in the play with the 40mm ball to have grown could and not tear could. And above all the most important: the Innovas is " larva in Japan "!! Which I am to hold from the Innova Light, I do not know yet quite, I tested that more briefly. It is still softer like the Innova, on which front spar I would recommend it only to people, which pull gaaaaanz soft Topspins and on rotation out are full (in thick sponge strengths) or however attach the importance on much check to people (thinner sponge strengths). I see holding the Innova Light more than RH lining, e.g. for people with the RH the ball in the play, there much check up to need and then softly draw around then with the front spar more aggressively to afterwards-pass on or however to people with a very good RH Topspin, which can bring very much rotation into its Topspins. Quite reliably will it super an alternative for players gaaanz yield tensor linings to be, naturally also with the advantages with the Innova, specified above. Fewer catapult effect and speed like the normal Innova, but but more softly and more controlled. Bye Sven |

@ Trask
Thank you I would really appreciate if someone could compare the Innovas (regular and ul) to the Mendos or Srivers. |

Innova Premium
Hi @ all,
I already tested the Innova Premium rubbers. They are very soft (because of the thicker sponge) but faster than the other "extremly soft" rubbers. They are also not very havy. For more information just ask ml. Stefan |

Re: New Stiga rubbers
The innova rubbers aren't really heavy, but they are very lite. They are mutch lighter than other rubbers!!! If you want a really offensive and soft rubber use the new stiga neos sound, I play with it and they are very good and fast. If you use fast glue every time u use it it makes a very nice sound.
