Waldner trainierte längere Zeit einen halblangen RH Longline Aufschlag der absichtlich zu 30% oder sogar öfter an die Kante ging.;)

Verstehe gar nicht, was es da zu diskutieren gibt. Ein derartig aufgeführter Aufschlag, der die Kante auf der gegnerischen Tischhälfte berührt, kann niemals falsch sein.

Das dachte ich auch als ich den Aufschlag als spaßigen Tischtennisinhalt überall hochgeladen habe. Der muss ja regulär sein, da es physikalisch unmöglich ist so die Seite des Tisches zu treffen. :D

Dann kamen aber einige Kommentare die was anderes sagten und klar es ist halt FB, Insta und TikTok aber ich möchte gerne verantwortungsvoll mit unserem Sport in der Öffentlichkeit umgehen und bevor ich da irgendwelchen Regelquatsch in die Welt setze frage ich lieber hier noch mal nach. Ich weis ja das hier einige sehr regelkundig sind. :)

Ein wenig Aufklärung über Regeln schadet ja auch nie, gerade wenn's schon mal nen Video zum analysieren gibt. In diesem Sinne, danke euch für eure Rückmeldungen. :top:

Einschlägig wäre da 12.2.1 "If the ball first passed over the playing surface the return is good, but if it touched while it is still rising from below the level of the playing surface it almost certainly touched the side." (außer man will sich darüber streiten, dass da nur Return und nicht auch Service steht)

Das ist für mich ein Indiz, dass man beim Formulieren der Regel nicht damit gerechnet hat, dass jemand auf die Idee kommen würde, dass ein Aufschlag den Tisch von der Seite treffen könnte.
