The future after the era of speed gluing
How is the situation in other countries? Which paths do you tread after the end of voc-including glues?
Are there tendencies towards rubbers which include a speedglue effect already or towards substances which "tune" the rubber comparably to speedgluing? |

Zitat:
In Russia this is only a problem for high class players. - Nearly no investigations in our town league... Besides: Fore more than a decade the preferred rubber in Sibiria is Nittaku Glasnost . - An outstanding professional from Switzerland - Baby Snake Schümatschek* - made it popular in the late eighties. * www.ttcaa.ch/playerfiles/franzschuematschek.html |

AW: The future after the era of speed gluing
Nobody gives a shit here. Lighter fluid, combined with "vulcan", will still and continuously be used to pep up the paddles, regardless of any bans or whatever.

Don't sue for glue
Still glueing ' Texas Style ' .
And for the next years I'm prepared. In Germany you will call it " Hamsterkäufe " ![]() http://www.adpic.de/lizenzfreie_bild...opf_26539.html |

AW: The future after the era of speed gluing
As stated earlier already, I don't think that anybody gives a shit here. Only very few players - at least at this point - consider giving up gluing and rather looking for alternatives. Actually, I am only aware of one other person besides me who stopped gluing and started to use a tuner instead.
The issue is, though, I have heard through the grapevine that the tuners will be banned, too!? So now we're really screwed. I wonder how that's gonna turn out eventually..... ![]() |
