Since Evolution rubbers have become some of the best‑selling sheets in Vietnam and our neighboring countries and the MX‑P has probably been at the top of the sales charts for nearly ten years, I could no longer avoid giving them a try.

I’ve now been playing with these rubbers for many months and I can draw a very positive first conclusion.

The Evolution MX‑P pairs extremely well with the MK Carbon blade. The setup is powerful, and even from mid‑distance or a few meters behind the table, there’s plenty of power to counterattack actively.

My concerns about touch play and serve receive turned out to be unfounded. The MX‑P has a very coarse‑pored sponge (open structure with large pores), which gives this otherwise hard combination a surprisingly good feel. As a result, you get excellent control even in passive situations. I’m genuinely impressed.
