AW: ITTF LIEBHERR 2017 Men's World Cup (20.10. - 22.10.2017, Liege, BEL)
Gruppenauslosung steht. https://d3mjm6zw6cr45s.cloudfront.ne...PS-A-B-C-D.pdf

AW: ITTF LIEBHERR 2017 Men's World Cup (20.10. - 22.10.2017, Liege, BEL)
Zitat:

AW: ITTF LIEBHERR 2017 Men's World Cup (20.10. - 22.10.2017, Liege, BEL)

Ovtcharov fühlt sich auf jeden Fall gut. Zwar bisschen viel gereist und vermisst Tochter und Familie, aber will hier in Belgien was erreichen. |

AW: ITTF LIEBHERR 2017 Men's World Cup (20.10. - 22.10.2017, Liege, BEL)
Einige O-Töne: Kanak Jha: "I think I have been so lucky to have featured in this prestigious tournament for the second time at my age. I know that not all players get the opportunity to take part in this competition and I have also been fortunate enough to have taken part in the Olympic Games, World Championships and World Cup all by the age of 17. I regard this tournament very highly and I want to make full use of this opportunity. I feel so honoured that I am a part of this year’s event, the tournament is getting tougher and tougher as most of the players here are of a world class standard." Omar Assar: "I think having two African players at the World Cup is no child’s play as it is a long years of hard work from the players. Unlike before when for years, we have only one player emerging from the hundreds of players in Africa competing either at the African Cup or Top 16 Cup. It goes to show that Quadri and I have raised the profile of Africa in global table tennis as everybody now sees the continent as among the best in the world. I am so happy and I just hope we can make things happen in the tournament but I must be sincere that it is the best 20 players in the world that are competing and we should not too complacent but play our best against the best to be able to make some points in the tournament. I have prepared very well for this tournament in Liège and I am optimistic that with the training I can do well by first of all qualifying from the group.” |
