Players from UK?

Hi,
i met a random british guy in my vacations. We talked a bit and drunk a “Zipfer“ beer. He told me that he is also playing table tennis and is at ~ #100 in the general rating (all nationalities, starts with Paul Drinkhall).

Sounds impressive but i really have no idea what he could play in Germany? Regio? Oberliga?

Do you know any players or comparisons?

England invented ping pong / table tennis and not China. But England is not so strong in table tennis.

I think not, that it is strong enough to be the no. 100 in England to play in Germany in the first 4 or 5 divisions. If a player belongs to the best 50-70 players the fifth division in germany is no problem and is the player belongs to the best 30-50 players they can play in the fourth division.

Just my opinion ...
